Personal Counseling Services
Counseling provides students with an opportunity to explore choices, options and goals, while staying focused on succeeding in school. By meeting with a counselor, students are assisted in identifying concerns, examining different solutions and working toward making beneficial changes. Counseling services are free and confidential.Students often see a WITC counselor when:
- They're having academic difficulty and need some help
- They feel overwhelmed and find it difficult to focus on school
- They need support in coping with a personal problem.
If long term counseling is necessary, WITC counselors will help with a referral to external resources within the community.
Online Screening Assessment
Take an on-line screening assessment to receive additional feedback! Psych Central offers a variety of online mental health assessments and provides instant feedback.
*Note: If the results of an online questionnaire suggest further assessment by a professional, please consider calling a WITC Counselor to discuss resources or visit our community resource page for counseling resources in your area.
