Students who are at least 18 years old may enroll in courses that will prepare them to take the General Education Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) exams.
Classes are available, open-entry, both daytime and evenings. Students also learn success strategies that will help them reach their educational goals.
A variety of instructional modes are utilized to assist individuals to gain the basic skills - reading, math, English and spelling - required to enter a career program or complete the GED/HSED exam.
You can enroll anytime. Classes are open-entry and free of charge. The GED/HSED exam is given on a regular basis at WITC for a charge of $80. Examinees must be at least 18-1/2 years old or their 9th grade class must have graduated AND they must not have earned a high school diploma.
