Biography

Mari Jo Ulrich is an Occupational Therapy Assistant instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Ashland campus.

Her work experience includes teen, adult and geriatric rehabilitation with a focus on traumatic brain injury, neurological impairment, and hand therapy. Mari Jo has a variety of experience, including rehabilitation hospital, outpatient hand clinic, sub-acute, acute, swing-bed, long-term care, and home health. She has provided occupational therapy services in cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, aquatic therapy, driving assessment, and training and worked closely with, and supervised many occupational therapy assistants. Mari Jo has great understanding of the role of the occupational therapy assistant in many work settings, and her varied experience helps give students a broad perspective of the profession.

She enjoys attending Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Cubs games, traveling, home improvement projects, cooking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family.
