Biography

Rebecca Sue Nielson is a Therapeutic Massage Instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. She teaches classes at all WITC campuses.

In Ashland, she is working on a student training relationship with a nursing home, hospital and physical/occupational/speech therapy program. With these institutions, Rebecca hopes to develop research projects that will improve massage therapy's position in the field of Western medicine, while giving students on-the-job training.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She is also involved with her husband's organic farming and permaculture landscape designing, which keep the family busy outside, in the dirt and in the kitchen. Rebecca also likes to visit the beaches of Lake Superior on hot days, take her dog for runs and read about massage techniques and research.
