Biography

Dr. Alex Birkholz is a Business, Computer Software, Economics and Marketing instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s New Richmond campus.

He has more than 10 years of experience in the marketing and management field, which includes management positions in human resources, marketing, operations, and procurement.

In addition to teaching, Alex has served as an Assessment of Student Learning Facilitator since 1999. In this role, he has led professional development activities at the local and national levels. His areas of specific interest include institutional, authentic and learning outcome-based assessment strategies.

In his spare time, Alex is a co-host and producer of a regional talk show.
