Biography

Lisa Shields is an Associate Degree Nursing instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College's New Richmond campus.

She started her nursing career as a nursing assistant at the age of 16. This background provides Lisa with a tremendous understanding of what students are going through during the program. Additionally, she brings years of experience in elderly care. Lisa has worked in acute care, long-term care, home care, case management, and she is also a nurse practitioner.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and reading. She also has a passion for wellness and holistic care.
