Kim Odden is a Farm Business Production Management Instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College's Rice Lake campus.
Kim grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. After his college graduation, Kim worked for the Farm Credit System for nine years. He also operated a small dairy farm. Kim also taught high school agriculture for five years before joining WITC. His extensive background in production agriculture, agriculture credit and teaching has helped Kim transition into his job at WITC.
In his free time, Kim enjoys elk and deer hunting, camping with his family, snowmobiling, ATVing and traveling the world with his wife.
"This program is designed for the operating farmer. With my experience in many areas of agriculture and my interest in new technology, I have introduced many farmers in the WITC district to oil pressing, biodiesel and robotic milkers. Helping farmers determine the direction they want to grow or expand their farms is always challenging. I enjoy helping farmers plan and expand their operations and watch them grow." — Kim Odden
