Biography
Russ Rich is an Information Technologies Computer Support Specialist and Information Technologies Network Specialist instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Rice Lake campus.
Russ started his education in the U.S. Navy as a submarine sonar technician where he learned how to operate a complex digital sonar system. He was also trained in electronics and electronic repair to maintain the system. Russ then taught at WITC's New Richmond campus for eight years before working as a computer support specialist for six years at a private company. His varied background has provided him with many skills for teaching both the Computer Support Specialist and the Network Specialist programs.
In his free time, Russ enjoys photography, travel, sailing, and scroll sawing.
