Todd Hoff is a mathematics and physics instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College's Rice Lake campus.
He has extensive work experience outside of the field of education in a variety of areas ranging from construction to manufacturing quality control to insurance and even truss engineering. This experience has proven to be extremely useful in helping Todd to relate the general math concepts in his courses to the students' interests and future career goals. Todd's work experience has given him insight into what happens within many of the program fields, allowing him to make his courses more relevant to the students' needs.
In his free time, Todd enjoys making furniture and fixtures out of wood and molding models out of plastics.
"I love teaching because I feel it is what I was meant to do. When I walk into a classroom and shut the door, there is no place I would rather be. I had a high school math teacher who took a chance on me and helped me to be successful. Now I want to give that same opportunity to others." — Todd Hoff
