Biography

Todd A. Larson is a Bricklaying and Masonry instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Rice Lake campus.

After graduating from the Hennepin Technical College bricklaying and masonry program, Todd entered the Minneapolis Bricklayers Union, and worked commercial construction, full-time, for 14 years prior to starting at WITC-Rice Lake. Todd was very involved in different trade organizations during that time, and also taught masonry apprentices, part-time, for three years.

In 1993, Todd was recruited by the Brick Distributors of Wisconsin to help start a masonry training program in Wisconsin in partnership with WITC-Rice Lake. Todd wrote the curriculum for the program, based on his knowledge and resources, from working in the construction industry for 14 years. He continues to do masonry work in the summers.

Todd enjoys just about anything that involves being outside. In the warm weather, he likes fishing, boating and golfing. In the winter months, Todd enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing. He also likes remodeling his old house, traveling with his wife and seeing different places, mainly visiting their kids in three different cities.
