Timothy M. McRaith is a Communications instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Rice Lake campus.
He has a diverse employment background, which makes it possible to relate communication situations that our students will encounter in their respective future careers.
He enjoys spending time with friends and family in Wisconsin’s great outdoors. Timothy is a volunteer for several area organizations dedicated to providing outdoor recreation opportunities to future generations. He serves as the program chair on the board of directors at the Hunt Hill Audubon Camp and is a chapter co-coordinator and newsletter editor for the Ice Age Trail and Park Foundation. Timothy also enjoys spending time taking care of his home and 50 acres where he and his wife, Denise DeGidio, live.
"At the end of the day, a teacher’s job is to help his or her student to succeed. After many years of working on jobs that either simply made my employers money, or on jobs where the ultimate goal was to make sure that people had a good time on their vacation, I found that I needed a more fulfilling purpose. For me, there is no greater purpose in a profession than helping others achieve their goals." — Timothy M. McRaith
