Biography

Dr. Heather Thom is a Therapeutic Massage Instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College's Superior campus.

Heather is part of the changing landscape of healthcare. Patients and clinics are asking for more alternatives for their health and pain management, and many are turning to massage. The connection between the mainstream medical establishment and alternative care occurs every day with massage. More doctors, nurses and staff are recommending that their patients try conservative care including massage therapy. As more states begin to have licensing requirements for massage, the respect for therapists begins to increase. The career opportunities are endless.

In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, listening to local music, camping and biking.
