Communications Instructor

Biography

Julie Gard is a Communications instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Superior campus.

Her coursework in writing and literature has helped to deepen and strengthen her own knowledge of and appreciation for the power of communication. Julie has taught communications courses at various technical and community colleges, universities, orphanages and correctional institutions.

She enjoys hiking in the woods and traveling – especially by train. Julie lived in Russia for two years, and has backpacked throughout Eastern Europe and China. She is also a writer and has published her works of poetry and short fiction.
