Biography

Julie Kantarik is an Associate Degree Nursing instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Superior campus.

Her nursing career began at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis where she was a staff nurse on adult and pediatric, medical-surgical and ICU units of the hospital. She also has experience in post-coronary and home health care. A goal of working with the geriatric population led Julie to a position as a nurse manager, then staff development manager, in a long-term care setting.

Julie enjoys spending free time with her family. She enjoys the outdoors, especially boating, fishing, canoeing, and swimming. She also likes snowmobiling.
