Biography

Lydia Miller is a Supervisory Management instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College’s Superior campus.

While a student at WITC, Lydia was inspired to become an adult educator. Her instructor, Pete Moran, said that when there is an opportunity – reach out and seize it. From this advice, she started a business. While owning and operating that business for 17 years, Lydia also went to University of Wisconsin-Superior to earn her business education degree. With a goal set to teach adults, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in May and was hired at WITC in July.

In her free time, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, sailing on Lake Superior in her Baba 30, and/or riding her Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Hugger. She also volunteers for the American Cancer Society, and is a member of the Toastmasters and American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
