Scholarship Gifts
Scholarships are an important financial resource for
technical college students whose tuition costs often exceed $3000 per year.
Endowments and other funds established through private gifts to the WITC
Foundation make it possible to award more than 200 scholarships each year to
deserving students.
Endowments provide
perpetual scholarships from the interest earned on a fund principal of $5000
or more. Donors who wish to establish an endowment may make a single gift
or a pledge commitment over a period of five years. Endowments can award
scholarships for a specific campus, instructional program, high school or
other targeted group. Endowments can be named for the donor or in honor of a
loved one or friend. For more information about starting an endowment, please contact
Craig Fowler at

Annual Scholarships
are awarded from contributions of $250 or more. Annual scholarships can be
a memorial tribute, or can recognize the business, community or professional
organizations making the donation. Like endowments, annual scholarships can
target a specific WITC campus, program, high school or other group.
Special Events
Special events
including golf tournaments and a fishing contest are
sponsored by the WITC Foundation and Alumni Association each year. Held
throughout the WITC college area, these events raise funds for scholarships
and other college needs. Sponsorships, gifts of cash or merchandise, and
participation in the event all help to make these events successful.
Planned Gifts
By naming WITC in your will or estate plan, you can
foster and continue the values important to you and your family. In
addition,
planned and
deferred gifts can provide maximum tax benefits to you and your
heirs. The WITC Foundation can show you how even a modest gift can
significantly impact quality technical education in northwest Wisconsin.
Equipment & In Kind Gifts
In-kind gifts of equipment and services enhance the
educational experiences of students and provide a unique and meaningful way
to support WITC. Donations can include new products, production equipment,
office supplies, raw materials, vehicles, services and other items. If
accepted, the donated item or service will be acknowledged in writing by the
college and valued by the donor.
