Overview
Personal Care Worker is a 40-hour course that combines 27 hours of independent study using CD ROMs and 13 hours of laboratory experience with a written exam. The independent study portion is offered at Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, and Superior. The laboratory experience is only offered at Ashland and New Richmond. This program is approved by the Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services. This course allows you to work at your own pace to learn the content. You will work directly with an instructor to complete the written exam and skill demonstration.
