Financial Aid/ Loan Entrance Counseling:  On-Line

Entrance loan counseling is a federally mandated requirement for all first time student loan borrowers. If you have already borrowed a student loan, you do not need to complete this requirement again. The purpose is to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower. The entire process should take you about 20 minutes. Entrance counseling must be completed before WITC will disburse your loan money.

Financial Aid—Loan Exit Counseling: on-line

Exit loan counseling is a federal mandated requirement for all student loan borrowers who will graduate or no longer be enrolled at WITC at least halftime. The purpose is to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower. The entire process should take you about 20 minutes.

Graduation Information:  The graduation fee (non-refundable) is $35. For December graduation, the petition must be received by early November; for May graduation, the petition must be received by early March. WITC Ashland holds a graduation ceremony in May.  Participation is not required to achieve graduate status.  Please contact Scott Leonard by e-mail, phone, fax or in person for more information.
