Scholarships

Scholarships are an important financial resource for technical college students whose tuition costs often exceed $3000 per year. Endowments and other funds established through private gifts to the WITC Foundation make it possible to award more than 200 scholarships each year to deserving students.

The WITC Foundation was established to support students, staff and alumni of WITC. Your tax deductible gift helps fund student scholarships and enhance WITC programs and services. Generous gifts from individuals, businesses, community and professional groups make it possible for the college to continue to provide exceptional educational experiences for our students.

May be designated the way you choose

Donations can be designated to a particular WITC program, service or established endowment, or can be combined with donations from other WITC friends to make an impact on student success
An annual scholarship donation of $250 or more—named for you, your loved one or your business or organization—supports students in need
A one-time donation of $5000* creates an endowed scholarship. You may also choose to support other Foundation programs and services (* Ask about our endowment incentive plan!)
Equipment donations to specific programs benefit numerous students for years to come
Gifts of bequests, life insurance policies or annuities are a wonderful option where you can make a difference and change lives
A memorial gift not only honors your loved one but creates a lasting and positive impact on the WITC community
A donation to the student emergency loan program assists students who may not otherwise be able to stay in school
Charitable giving through estate planning—such as a bequest or a life insurance gift—provides an excellent opportunity to foster values important to you
