To assist Wisconsin in building a highly productive work force, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) has joined in partnership with local business, industry, and agencies to address employee training needs.
WITC can assist your organization with its training and technical assistance needs as follows:
Continuing Education Courses/Seminars - a wide array of credit and hourly offerings to provide job entry and worker upgrade training weekdays, weekends, or evenings throughout the year.
Contracted Training Customized and/or specialized training to fit your specific needs is available to your organization when it fits your schedule. Training can be done at your site or on campus.
Technical Assistance - We can assist your work force in implementing new technology through technical assistance contracts or classroom projects. Our staff is competent in the new technologies and can answer questions and provide solutions to decrease the time to implement new technology and procedures. We also have a network of external resource persons from the Wisconsin Technical College System, governmental agencies, or private providers.
Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center (NWMOC) is a partnership of five technical colleges and UW-Stout. NWMOC provides free or shared cost services aimed at retaining and strengthening manufacturers. Services are designed to improve productivity, quality, profitability, and use of technology.
