WITC-New Richmond business students compete statewide

(3/21/11): The Business Professionals of
America – New Richmond Chapter recently traveled to Rice Lake to compete against
other Wisconsin Technical Colleges in leadership, citizenship, academic and
technological skills. Faculty advisor for the WITC-New Richmond chapter is Linda
Richie.
Those who placed at the state
competition include:

Accounting (1st place), Federal Income Tax Accounting (2nd place) and Managerial
Accounting (5th place)

Parliamentary Procedure (2nd place)
Patricia Roettger –
Extemporaneous Speech (5th place), Administrative Support Team (5th place),
Keyboarding Production ( 2nd place) and Advanced Office Systems (3rd place)
Amanda Kuske – Keyboarding
Production (5th place) and Medical Transcription (3rd place)
Stephanie Formo – Desktop
Publishing (2nd place) and Advance Word Processing Skills (3rd place)
Gayleen Farrier - Extemporaneous
Speech (2nd place), Administrative Support Team (5th place), Medical Office

students are now fundraising so they may continue on to the National Competition
in Washington, D.C. this spring.
