WITC invites public to help with Centennial Celebration preparations

In preparation for its Centennial Celebration, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior is creating a photographic timeline of its rich history.

(2/8/11): In preparation for its Centennial Celebration, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior is creating a photographic timeline of its rich history. The WITC-Superior Learning Resource Center (LRC) team is converting photos from the past 100 years to a digital format. A flicker account has been created so that the community can view the photos and help identify the people in them.

“We are opening our archives and making hundreds of images available for viewing on a flickr.com account," says Adam Brisk, LRC technician. "The public is invited to view images, add comments and tag people that they might know. Help us refresh and invigorate our story by going to www.flickr.com/witc100 or search flickr.com for WITC100.”

The Centennial Celebration will kick off in August with a full year of events planned to mark WITC’s 100^th year of providing top quality, hands-on education.
