WITC Graduate Salaries Continue to Rise

(5/16/2016) The nationally top-ranked college continues to show increasingly impressive results with the 2014-2015 Graduate Survey Results. The results are based on 1,550 graduates who completed 2,255 credentials in associate degrees and technical diplomas at WITC campuses, outreach centers and learning centers.

The results show either a steady increase or even match from the years prior, revealing an impressive track record of academic excellence and valuable career perspective. WITC's annual report shows that within six months, 95 percent of graduates are employed, and 79 percent of graduates are employed in jobs related to their training. The average annual salary for WITC's graduates employed in jobs related to their training is $37,938, an increase from the 2014 survey, which showed the annual salary to be $35,795.

"The College's responsive programming and its connection to the business community leads to an environment that supports success for WITC's graduates," said WITC President John Will. "Our close ties with our local employers provide valued insight, which ensures our graduates will positively impact our communities throughout their careers."

Highlights from the survey are as follows:
-95 percent of graduates are employed within six months of graduating
-79 percent of graduates are employed in a job related to their WITC training
-Graduates employed in a job related to their training are earning an average yearly salary of $37,938
-98 percent of graduates are satisfied or very satisfied with their WITC education
-98 percent of graduates would recommend WITC to a friend or family member
-75 percent of graduates that are working in jobs related to their WITC training are employed in Wisconsin

The report is based on survey responses from 1,550 graduates who completed 2,255 credentials in associate degrees and technical diplomas at WITC campuses, outreach centers and learning centers.
