Careers. Choices. Real Life.

What Graduates are Saying

Julie VanGuilder tells her story.I would like to say "thank you" for all the encouragement and inspiration you gave me during my two years of college. I worked hard to get where I am today, but my instructors should take some of the credit too.

My salary has doubled, almost tripled from my days as a waitress! I want to say "thank you" again. As a full-time mother, wife, and student, a scholarship helped me financially. I felt honored and privileged to receive a scholarship because I really didn't think it was possible. If you apply yourself and do the best you can, you can reach your goals. I did!

First, a technical college lets you try something that's more hands-on than at a four-year college.  WITC allows you to get a taste of a potential career, but at a more economical price.  If you like it, you can go on-just look where my two-year degree got me.  Second, I had a good feeling when I was here.  The staff and instructors are all very good.  There's a laid-back, friendly feeling to the place, but it's clear you're getting a lot out of your college education.
