Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R)

Real Experience

WITC provides the basic knowledge to help students develop the skills necessary to succeed in this industry. Concern for the environment and the need to reduce energy consumption has prompted the development of new energy-saving heating and air conditioning systems. Increased emphasis on better energy management is expected to lead to the replacement of older systems and the installation of newer, more efficient ones in existing homes and buildings. Using advanced technology, students will learn entry-level skills to work on microprocessed HVAC/R systems.
