Construction and Cabinetmaking Program Preview
Are you interested in quality woodworking? Experience what WITC has to offer by spending a day in the Construction and Cabinetmaking program to see what it's like to be a student.
In this program, you will learn the fundamentals of building and cabinet design, construction, print reading, and estimating. Your classroom will be one of two fully equipped labs (construction and cabinet production), or you will be on location at one of our project houses.
Schedule time to preview the program and spend time with Construction and Cabinetmaking students and instructors, Chris Harder, Dave Shipley, and Scott Theilig. This is a great opportunity for you to get answers to questions on topics like program curriculum and employment options after graduation.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Construction and Cabinetmaking employment is expected to grow as fast as the average for all occupations, so graduates should enjoy good job prospects.
Our Construction and Cabinetmaking Resource Links Web page provides more information about carpentry basics, industry publications and organizations, as well as career resources.
