Construction and Cabinetmaking - Skills USA Carpentry Competition

Skills USA is a national non-profit organization, serving high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. The students compete in a state skills conference in carpentry and cabinetmaking against students from different colleges for a chance to compete at the national level. Only first place winners move on to the national competition. The WITC Residential Construction and Cabinetmaking students have been very successful, competing at nationals seven out of the eight years and having two 3rd place winners and four top ten finishers.
