People’s lives often depend on the quick reaction and competent care of Emergency Medical Technicians. WITC coursework emphasizes emergency skills such as managing respiratory distress, trauma, cardiac emergencies, and patient assessment. The program provides instruction and practice in dealing with bleeding, fractures, airway obstruction, cardiac arrest, and emergency childbirth. Upon completion of the paramedic technical studies courses, all students are eligible to take the National Registry exam which is recognized in nearly all 50 states.
