This program prepares graduates to compile, process and maintain electronic healthcare records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with requirements of the healthcare system.
The HIT associate degree program is in Candidacy Status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
