Marine Repair Technician - Real Experience

WITC’s Marine Repair Technician program is the only one of its kind offered in Wisconsin, and is a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and the Association of Marine Technicians (AMTECH). In this program, students learn the repair processes of outboard and inboard engines, propulsion systems, and much more. Training takes place on the most up-to-date electronic systems offered by leading outboard manufacturers.

Projects include installing outboard engines on boats, then completing on-the-water testing and adjusting of the boat and motor package. Students also learn how to install boat accessories, perform minor fiberglass repairs and operate recreational watercraft by actual on-the-water experiences.
