Community & Service
Every semester, students apply their knowledge by assisting local for-profit and not-for-profit organizations with various marketing projects including promotional, multi-media and business plans. Following are samples of some of these activities:
- Teen Harbor is a charitable organization helping to keep Superior’s youth in a safe environment. The goal is to keep youth away from destructive past times, such as drugs or alcohol.
- Amsoil developed a communication plan to improve the visibility
and organization of the Late Model Racing Series.
- Created a communication plan for Deer Management and presented it
to the City of Superior entitled Superior Deer Management Committee Public
Relations Campaign 2007 – Managing the Herd…Year After Year
- Douglas County Aging Disability Resource Center is a streamlined and convenient source of information options, benefit counseling and referral assistance.
