Broadband Academy

Start a career in the broadband industry with Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College's (WITC) unique -in- Wisconsin Broadband Academy. Learn the fundamentals of broadband services and how broadband networks operate with the different technologies.

Completion of this Academy will improve quality of products and customer service skills.

The Broadband Academy is offered fully online at a time and place most convenient for you and your employees. Whether entry-level or senior personnel, this three-level training program will provide professional development and cross training for employees with the most up-to-date technical content.

The Academy is developed into three levels that you can take at your own pace. Students of the Academy can opt to complete 1, 2 or all 3 levels with the flexibility to test out of levels.

Courses in the Broadband Academy will seamlessly transfer into WITC’s broadband technologies technical diploma so graduates can continue their education.

Registration is OPEN for all Broadband Services Level 1 and Broadband Services Level 2 courses

Registration is open for CISCO 1 and CISCO 3 courses in Broadband Services Level 3

This program will help member company employees acquire the tools necessary to advance their careers in the broadband industry. Course offerings will provide students exposure to various elements of the broadband and telecommunications field; including the integration of IP voice service, cable TV, fiber optic and internet services. By completing course offerings, our member companies and their employees will maintain and improve the quality products and service our customers have come to expect.

Kostner has been with WITC since 1999 instructing the Broadband Technologies program. As the Academy program director, Kostner is responsible for setting program priorities, responding to constituent needs and requests, developing new educational projects and interfacing with Broadband Associations and industry training requests.
