To successfully enter today's innovative field of telecommunications, you need a foundation in merging technologies – as the traditional areas of telephone and cable television rely more and more on computer information systems and wireless communications. You will learn how to install and maintain business and residential electronic equipment; coaxial, twisted pair, and fiber optic cable systems; and wireless technologies.
