Residential Construction and Cabinetmaking - Cabinets and Furniture

First-semester students learn basic to complex joinery along with machine set up and maintenance. These skills will be used to design and build their own beautiful heirloom furniture piece. Students learn different finishing processes and decide which finish suits their project.

Second-year students learn the production cabinetmaking process by designing and building high-end cabinets using CNC and the latest machines. It doesn’t stop there, the students continue work on the house project; sheet rock is finished, doors and trim is installed, balustrade is fitted, and the custom-built cabinets they built are hung.
