Academic Quality Improvement Program
As the next step in WITC's innovative journey, Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) infuses the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of colleges and universities by providing an alternative process through which an already-accredited institution can maintain its accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission.
Gathering Feedback & Input
President Bob Meyer conducted strategic planning forums in 2010 at all WITC locations in an effort to obtain input from the WITC community (community members, key leaders from Business and Industry, educators, government officials, WITC retirees, WITC employees, and WITC students) toward the development of the 2012 - 2015 Strategic Goals. Members of the Quality Improvement Steering Committee were involved with this year's process.

Processing
The members of the Quality Improvement Steering Committee (QISC) breakup into groups representing one of the five main categories. They review the feedback that was assigned into their category and identify common themes.
The QISC then reviews all of the themes as a group and identifies where common themes from other groups are associated.
The associations are then identified within each category/theme.
