ABSENCE
PROCESS
Faculty and staff are asked to call in to the switchboard and their supervisor as soon as is possible to report their absence. Faculty should contact
students when they are unable to teach class due to illness etc., if at all possible. Time off work (vacation, sick, personal
leave, bereavement) must be entered into the absence/leave system
through etimesheets. See Shawna Benish,
Administrative Specialist/Supervisor, for instructions.
ACTIVITY
HOURS
Activity hour is from 11:30 to 12:30 every Tuesday and Thursday
during the school year.
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Each program has an advisory committee that provides input on
curriculum-related decisions.
BUILDING HOURS
Building hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday -
Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday and closed on Sunday.
BUSINESS CARDS
Business cards are ordered through the
Shell Lake location twice a year.
Shawna Benish,
Administrative Specialist/Supervisor, will send out an
all-staff email when we are ready to place orders.
COMPUTER WORK REQUESTS
For computer/technical assistance please call the 24/7 Help
Desk at Ext. 7300 or 1-800-235-9500. Technical issues that can
not be addressed at the level one help desk will be addressed by
the appropriate local staff member. The New Richmond Network
Technicians are Jim Monson
and
Jared Lamm.
COPIES
Please request all copying
by filling out a duplication request. Please allow at least
48 hours for larger jobs.
EMAIL
Email will be set up at the Shell Lake office for any fulltime
staff/faculty. If you are part time and need email, please advise
your supervisor.
EMERGENCY PROCESSES
There are emergency processes followed at each WITC location.
Please make sure you have a copy of the procedures and review them
carefully. See your supervisor with any
questions you may have.

INSERVICE/STAFF MEETINGS
All staff meetings are regularly scheduled for the first
Thursday of the month from 11:30-12:30 a.m.
KEYS
Once you begin employment, please fill out a key request and
submit it to your supervisor. Once approved, your
supervisor will then send it to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
You will be required to sign off that you have received a key and
then a key will be issued. Admittance is limited to hours when
building is open.
MAILBOX
Your supervisor will assign a mailbox to you.

Please utilize
SchoolDude for work requests for maintenance.
MANAGER ON DUTY
In the evenings (M-Th) and on
Saturday mornings a primary manager is available at 715.554.7347 or
715.645.2146. This person is available until 10 p.m. during the week and Noon on
Saturday. For daytime assistance, please contact the information desk at ext.
4100.
OFFICE AREAS
Office areas will be assigned to you by your supervisor.
PARKING
The staff lot is located on the west side of the building. Student cars parked in this lot will be ticketed.

Registration is now online.
Please contact Student Services at extension 4145 if you are unable to access the webpage and complete the
process.
SUMMER HOURS
The President's Cabinet establishes the dates of summer hours. Staff will be notified via email each spring.
TEACHING LEARNING CENTER
Teaching Learning Center is located in the LRC,
behind the checkout desk.
VENDING/FOOD
Vending machines are located in the student lounge, directly in front of the LRC.
The Paperjack Creek Cafe is open from Mon-Fri. during the school
year. Stop daily specials on the hot buffet as well as grill
items.
