Financial Aid

Our students are proof that you don't have to go into debt to obtain a successful career. If you would like to receive financial aid, you will need to apply at least 12 weeks prior to the start of the semester you wish to attend. Otherwise, you may miss out on receiving available grant money.

To apply for financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Before you begin the application, you will need to obtain an FSA ID, this serves as your legal signature. It can take one to three days to receive your FSA ID, so plan accordingly.

Get Organized

To simplify filling out your FAFSA, gather the following documents and have them with you when you are completing your FAFSA.

  • Federal Tax Return 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ
  • W-2s from each job worked
  • Unemployment, Social Security, Wisconsin Works W2 and any other documentation of income you received
