I knew I could never promote something I didn't believe in. At WITC, the student outcomes in job placement and return-on-investment of time and money speak volumes. I am more than confident WITC is smart choice for career training and lifelong learning, and I want to support our mission of "learning first", developing our regional workforce, and ultimately, bettering people's lives.
I've transitioned my background in storytelling from TV reporting to telling the personal stories of WITC students and staff, advocating for the college, leading change initiatives internally and spreading the word about the incredible student support and life-changing experiences students have here. I feel blessed to have a purposeful career directly impacting our community.
Outside of work, I hike and run in the woods for relaxation, cook a lot of healthy food, camp and travel, listen to a lot of nonfiction books and podcasts, and try to keep up with my son as he explores the world.
