WITC earned the 2021-22 Military Friendly® School designation by VIQTORY, the leader in successfully connecting the military community to civilian employment, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities.

WITC would like to introduce the 2021 Student Ambassadors: Bill Thompson, Ashland; Tammy Williams-Starzinsky, New Richmond; Alexa Robinson, Rice Lake; Jon Fritsche, Superior.

WITC’s Gerontology – Aging Services Professional program, in partnership with Brad Gingras, the executive director of Northwest Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NWAHEC), will provide $20,000 to be applied toward tuition and books to 12 practicing professionals who work in WITC’s 11-county region.

Based on data from the research, WITC will move forward with rebranding efforts. The WITC Board of Trustees has adopted a timeline that will lead to a new name, mascot and branding for the College that will go into effect Fall 2021 term.

The nursing and EMS programs at WITC are doing their part to get as many newly trained professionals out the door to join the ranks.

Hybrid classes to support high potential employees

For the 2020-2021 academic year, WITC will offer in-person classes with safety precautions in place.

WITC was able to assist emergency responders and law enforcement by donating much needed supplies.
