The 2019 Technical Education Champion (TECh) Award recognizes Russ Davis Wholesale for outstanding contributions to Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) and the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS).

WITC is professionally training cyber superheroes to detect, protect and defend against attacks in its new IT-cybersecurity specialist program.

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College recently launched two programs to address these labor shortages. Diesel equipment technician and truck driving are now accepting students for upcoming classes.

WITC has earned the 2019-2020 Military Friendly® School designation by VIQTORY, the leader in successfully connecting the military community to civilian employment, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities.

WITC is bringing back the Promise Scholarship for the 4th consecutive year. Funded by the WITC Foundation, the Promise Scholarship provides free college tuition for area high school graduates who meet program eligibility requirements.

Every year, the National Constitution Center commemorates the historic signing of the U.S. Constitution by hosting a Constitution Day celebration.

WITC garnered national attention recently when Forbes Magazine placed the college in the top 25 two-year trade schools nationally.

WITC is now accepting applications for the new hospitality specialist program for the fall semester. The two-semester program is conveniently offered at the Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake and Superior campuses as well as the Hayward and Ladysmith Outreach Centers.
