Dave Nyquist has over 20 years of professional business experience working in a variety of positions in many different types of organizations. Before coming to WITC, he taught business education at the K-12 level, which helped him sharpen his teaching skills in the classroom.
Dave believes teaching should be interactive, relevant and hands-on. In the classroom, he uses real-world examples from his past work experience to keep students engaged. Dave enjoys sharing what he has learned over the course of his career, both the success and failures. Seeing how the information can be applied to the student’s career field aids in understanding and retention for students.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys camping and coaching his kids in softball and basketball. He also enjoys skiing, golfing, kayaking and wood working.
