Jodie Karr’s goal as an instructor is to encourage lifelong learning, and if she can fuel a love of learning in her students, she has achieved the most rewarding of goals. Jodie is inspired to teach by her love of science and the reward of sharing her knowledge and experience with others. Her previous experience includes working as a medical technologist at a large health institute as well as experience at a small, rural health clinic. She also worked as a health educator, where she worked with the community to encourage healthy habits.
In her free time, Jodie enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She also enjoys travel, spending time at the beach, cooking and reading.
Jodie is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in Hematology.
