Amanda has worked for a large acute care hospital and also for a smaller community hospital. She has also worked very closely in the areas of health information management, document imaging, coding, release of information, chart completion, transcription, electronic health record systems and privacy and security. She is excited to put this experience and information together for the HIT/MCS programs while passing along the knowledge to help others be prepared and successful in the field.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with her kids and reading.
