"To teach is to touch a life forever. I have been very fortunate in being granted that rare privilege."

Before joining WITC, I was a truck driver for 16 years and earned my degree during that time. I have also worked in technical training at Oscar Mayer Foods in Madison, Wis., as a carpenter in the Cable, Wis., area, and occasionally drove truck during my summer breaks. My employment background in various careers enables me to empathize with WITC's students who work, study and have families and full-time lives.
For two summers, my family lived on the Apostle Islands as volunteer rangers with the National Park Service. In 1997, we lived on Stockton Island and in 1999, we lived on Oak Island.
In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, photography, spending time with family, reading and writing. I also have three books in progress with no intentions to publish them anytime in the near future.
