Tracey Heyder-Kitching’s educational background taught her to be inquisitive and resourceful, which are integral in the ever-evolving field of veterinary medicine. Her work experiences have reinforced those necessities, along with providing numerous interpersonal experiences necessary to work with clients and all members of a veterinary team. Tracey references these experiences in the classroom to help students apply what is learned in the classroom to the job.
Tracey’s teaching philosophy is straightforward for students–start simple and build confidence through engagement. From there, she encourages and fosters resourcefulness and critical thinking skills to help the learner discover their own unique strengths and abilities.
In her spare time, Tracey is an active curler during the winter months and a kayaker and golfer during the summer months.
