Get the classes you need to become licensed or to renew your real estate license in the state of Wisconsin. Our instructors are local experts who know Wisconsin real estate rules and guidelines. Classes are held via instructional television (ITV), so travel is kept to a minimum.
Courses are offered at all WITC campuses and branch locations via Interactive Television (ITV), so your travel time is kept to a minimum. All courses meet Wisconsin licensing and certification requirements.
This course meets the 72 classroom hours of pre-license education required for an original real estate salesperson’s license as required in Section 452.09 (2) (a) of the Wisconsin Statutes and specifically to RL 25.03 (3), Wisconsin Administrative Code, effective January 1, 1991. Contents include principles of real estate, real estate law, forms, real estate business operations concepts, ethics, land use control and development, environmental concerns, and miscellaneous additional content.
About the Courses
WITC's Real Estate prelicensing and continuing education courses meet the education requirements for licensing and renewal. Types of Courses include:
- Real Estate Law for Salespersons (prelicensing): This course meets the 72 classroom hours of prelicense education required for a real estate salespersons license as required in Section 452.09(2)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes. Contents include principles of real estate, real estate law, forms, real estate business operations concepts, ethics, land use control and development, environmental concerns, and miscellaneous additional content.
- Real Estate Continuing Education: Licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education during each biennium through six approved 3-hour courses. Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4 are mandatory for all licensees; in addition licensees must take two of the elective courses.
