Request Transcript

Official Transcripts

WITC will issue official transcripts to you in a sealed envelope with the words “unofficial if seal is broken” written across the envelope flap, mailed in an individually sealed college envelope.  The official transcript should remain in the unopened, sealed envelope until it is presented to the employer, institution or scholarship provider. Official transcripts bear the electronic signature of the registrar and do not require a raised seal.

  • Option 1: Online (Preferred)

  • Option 2: In-Person

    • Request an official transcript at any WITC student services office. You will have the option of paying by credit/debit card, cash, check or money order. If you are paying by cash, check or money order, make note of the order number and give it to the student services business office along with payment and picture ID. There is a $6 fee per transcript for this service.
    • Same day processing in-person pickup is available for a $12 fee per transcript. Please allow at least four hours before your planned pick-up. Pick-up delivery orders received after 11 a.m. may not be available until the next business day.
    • If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo identification is required at the time pick up is made. Please note that transcripts that are not picked up after 15 days will be mailed to the address you provided when placing your transcript order.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts have the same information as an official transcript, but they are printed on plain paper and do not contain the electronic signature of the registrar. There is no fee for unofficial transcripts.

  • Option 1: MyWITC Portal (Preferred)
    • The quickest and most convenient way to request an unofficial transcript is to order it through your MyWITC portal.  Unofficial transcripts are available to currently-enrolled and former students with an active login and password. Download  detailed instructions on how to request an Unofficial Transcript through MyWITC. If you need to reset your MyWITC portal account or to request a login and password, click here to Reset/Create MyWITC Portal Access. Contact student services with any questions regarding portal access or assistance in navigating MyWITC.
  • Option 2: Mail or Fax
    • If you do not have access to MyWITC, you may complete and mail or fax a paper Unofficial Transcript Request Form to one of the student services locations listed on the bottom of the Unofficial Transcript Request Form. As required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, WITC must have written authorization to release your unofficial transcript (requests cannot be taken over the phone or via e-mail). If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo identification is required at the time pick up is made.
  • Option 3: In-Person
    • In person requests for unofficial transcripts can be placed at any WITC student services office.  You will need to complete a paper Unofficial Transcript Request Form. As required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, WITC must have written authorization to release your unofficial transcript (requests cannot be taken over the phone or via e-mail). Please allow at least four hours for processing time before your planned pick-up. Pick-up delivery orders received after 1 p.m. may not be processed until the next business day.
    • If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo identification is required at the time pick up is made. Please note that transcripts not picked up after 15 days will be destroyed.
