Tuition and Fees
WITC is one of Wisconsin’s most affordable colleges. Our low per credit cost enables WITC’s tuition to be thousands of dollars less than tuition for public or private four-year universities. The tuition amounts listed below do not include program-specific fees such as background checks, tools, books, supplies, or uniforms.

Other Fees
Application Fee: $30
The nonrefundable fee must accompany your application for admission for all state-and college-approved credit programs and certificates that require a basic skills assessment. If you have applied and paid the application fee before, you may not have to pay it again. Call the Student Services office to see if you have questions.
Challenge Exams - Test Out Fee: $50
Frequency: As needed for each course
This fee is charged only if you want to attempt to test out of a course through a challenge exam.
Portfolio - Work Experience Evaluation Fee: $90
Frequency: As needed
This fee only applies if you want to attempt to obtain credit for work or life experience.

Background Checks: WI General-$7, WI Caregiver-$10, MN Caregiver-$20, National-$52
